Privacy Notice

Last updated: May 2026

This notice describes how Contractor Leads (trading as Quote Flow) handles your personal data when you visit this site or buy our field guide. We act as the data controller for the personal data described here.

1. Data we collect

We collect:

  • Account data: email address (used for sign-in and delivery).
  • Purchase data: transaction reference, amount, currency, and the product purchased. Card details are processed by Paddle and never reach us.
  • Usage data: limited technical logs (IP address, browser, request times) for security and abuse prevention.
  • Support data: any messages you send us.

2. Why we use it

  • To deliver the product you bought (sending the download link).
  • To let you sign in and re-download your purchase.
  • To process refunds and respond to support requests.
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations (e.g. tax records via Paddle).

Our legal bases are: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, and compliance with law.

3. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, billing, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds. See Paddle's privacy policy.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — we use cloud providers to host this site, our database, and to send transactional emails. They process data only on our instructions.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. How long we keep data

Account and purchase records are retained for as long as you have an account, plus the period required to comply with tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years). Technical logs are kept for a shorter period (typically 30–90 days).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, contact us through the support channel listed on your Paddle receipt or this site. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, and least-privilege access for our staff and systems.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to load the Paddle checkout securely. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Changes

We may update this notice. The current version is always published on this page.
